During the last week of at-home learning, the students in 5F were learning about 3D shapes. On their first day back they put their knowledge to the test in a fast paced challenge.
In pairs and small groups, the students chose 2
3D shapes and classified them by drawing the nets, sketching them, building them with popsicle sticks and blu-tac, and identifying the faces, edges and vertices. The most complicated part was figuring out how to keep a dodecagonal prism standing upright!
