Hiring our facilities
Alexandria Park Community School provides an important educational and social focus for our local community. Parents and community members are encouraged to participate in the life of our school. Community groups also access the facilities of Alexandria Park Community School (out of hours) for appropriate purposes, by negotiation with the principal and where they have no impact on educational and school run programs.
Any community user should familiarise themselves with the Community Use Agreement before undertaking an application for the use of facilities and before signing any agreement. The Community Use Agreement can be viewed at

You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring the facility does not interfere with our teaching and learning programs. Facilities are not hired during school operating hours or 8am – 3:00pm.
Hiring the Getiela (sports field)
The Getiela sports field is a shared use facility between Alexandria Park Community School and City of Sydney council.
The field is operated by the school Monday – Friday 7am to 6pm (excluding public and school holidays). Outside these hours (weekdays 6pm-10pm, weekends 8am to 8pm and school holiday periods) these facilities are operated by council.
