Sage 1 Taronga Zoo Excursion

A visit to Taronga Zoo for Stage 1 students studying living things allows them to observe various animal species and their habitats, enhancing their understanding of how living things depend on each other and their environment (ST1-4LW-S). The experience also promotes inquiry skills by encouraging students to ask questions and make observations (ST1-1WS-S), while fostering environmental awareness about the interactions between living and non-living things (ST1-6ES-S)

Itinerary

9.30 am - Board bus.

10 am - Arrive at zoo, enter & have crunch & sip.
10.15 am to 12.00 pm - Self guided tour.
12.00 pm to 1.00 pm - Lunch & play.
1.00 pm to 1.45 pm - Continue self guided tour walking back to entrance.
2.00 pm - Board bus.
2.40 pm - Return to school.

Parents of affected students have been emailed a permission note via SchoolBytes together with a request for payment of $35.
