School Uniform Policy
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

Our school uniform identifies our students as belonging to Alexandria Park Community School. Our uniform promotes a sense of inclusivity, non-discrimination and equal opportunity. Our school uniform is affordable, easy to wear and care for.
All school students are expected to wear full school uniform. It is an important part of our school’s “Code of Behaviour”, which was introduced after extensive consultation with students, parents, teachers and community groups.
This presents a positive school image outside of the school and contributes to a shared school identity within.
Kindergarten to Year 6 Uniform
- APCS red polo shirt with logo
- Navy shorts/pants/skort, navy socks, black school shoes every day except on their sport day.
- Navy blue jumper or jacket with school logo
- Black school shoes
- Navy socks or stockings
High School – Year 7 to 12
- APCS white with blue sleeve polo shirt OR a white school shirt and tie (optional)
- Navy shorts or navy pants or navy skirt or navy skort – shorts and skirts are to be worn to a modest and reasonable length for school attire
- Navy blue Jumper or jacket with school logo
- Black school shoes
- Navy socks or stockings
The sports uniform is to be worn on the student's sport day.
Please ensure your child is wearing the correct APCS school uniform every day to school.
High School Sports Uniform
- APCS red polo shirt with logo
- Navy short/skorts or track pants
- Sports shoes and socks
Sport Days:
Year 7&8 - Wednesday
Year 9&10 - Friday
All students in the above years are to wear sports uniform on their designated day.
Everyday:
APCS wide brim hat for students in Kindergarten to year 6 is to be worn. High school students are encouraged to wear a hat every day to be sun-safe.
Uniform prices can be found below, please note the school does NOT sell pants/shorts/skirts/skorts - these can be purchased at retail store of your choice, in navy blue colour.
