Covid 19 update Alexandria Park Community School

Dear parents and carers,

I would like to confirm with you that a member of our school community has tested positive for COVID-19. NSW Health have promptly assessed the situation and advised that there is no requirement to cease school operations.

As we are operating strict cohorting at our school, all secondary staff and students (Years 7–12) are asked to self-isolate as a precaution while we complete contact tracing.

Staff and students in the primary school are assured that the school is safe and remains operational for these year groups.

NSW Health reminds anyone who has been unwell or if you develop any symptoms such as a fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, loss of smell/taste, muscle/joint pains, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting or extreme tiredness to be tested at one of the COVID-19 testing clinics.
