The 2021 Deadly Kids Awards winners – these awards celebrate the excellence and achievements of Aboriginal students. Congratulations to Deadly Kids David in Year 9 and Jaydus in Year 6.
The Aunty Fay Carrol Memorial Award was given to our own Aunty Leanne Turner in recognition of her exemplary contribution and outstanding commitment to our school community.
The Deadly Kids Gamarada Award, which recognises the outstanding contribution that non-Aboriginal staff make in our schools and towards Aboriginal Education was awarded to Christy Godby.
We are so proud of our award winners and our school.
Dre Carr Lang named NASCA (National Aboriginal Sporting Change Academy) Youth of the Year Award. Dre is an outstanding young man that both his NASCA and school peers look up to and see as a leader, and is a credit to his family and community. A most well deserved of the YOTY Award.
