Year 7 Camp - Collaroy Centre

Students in Year 7 will be attending a two-night camp from the 23rd to the 25th of July (Week 1 of Term 3) at Collaroy Centre, which is located at Sydney’s Northern Beaches, NSW. 

The start of High School can be a daunting experience for many students. The camp plays a vital role in the students integration into the school community. Camp will provide the opportunity for students to build independence, engage in team building and consolidate social relationships. Leaners will experience a range of outdoor activities which complement the learning they participate in at school. 

During our stay a variety of activities will be offered and run by qualified and experienced camp staff. Camp activities could include rope walk,  archery, a flying fox,  rock climbing, orienteering and a talent quest. Teachers and other support staff from Alexandria Park Community School will also be present to assist students.  

A permission ote will be sent to parents via EventBrite with a request for payment of $428.
