Dear Parents and Carers

As you are aware, your child will be entering their final year of study from the beginning of Term 4 this year.

To help welcome the new Year 12s, and to help prepare them for their final stage of school, we have arranged a special day for them in our Multi-Purpose Space, the Kick Start Year 12 day.

On Monday 14^th October 2024, (week 1 or Term 4), all students beginning the Year 12 pattern of study are expected to attend.

This is a compulsory event, and all students are expected to be in school uniform and attend unless otherwise exempted.

The day will begin with a Welcome address from our Principal Mrs Lade and end with a keynote address from our guest speaker. This year we have booked Elevate Education to present three sessions focussing on study skills, exam preparation and time management.  I have also asked a representative from the University Admissions Centre, UAC, to speak to students about university entry requirements and the ATAR. The day will end with our guest speaker whose purpose will be to inspire students.

Lunch will be provided but students will need to supply their own morning tea.

I hope students enjoy the day and are motivated and equipped to succeed in Year 12.
