Alexandria Park Community School is both a primary school for students in Kindergarten to year 6 and a high school for students in years 7 to 12. The school has a primary school (K – 6) and a high school (7 – 12) structure, with an Opportunity Class in Year 5 and Year 6, and a Selective Stream in Year 7 to Year 12 for academically gifted and talented students.
We provide high-quality educational opportunities, specialising in a diverse range of academic and extra-curricular programs which build on students’ interests, strengths and talents. Music, sport, public speaking, and service programs such as our Interact Club, provide our students with a diversity of choice in co-curricular activities.
We provide an outstanding transition to Kindergarten program in partnership with our Community Centre. Our staged learning and well-being practices ensure best educational and holistic support for all students including a supported transition program at critical points during a child’s educational journey such as entry to school, Year 6 into Year 7, year 10 into Year 11 and post Year 12.
Senior students access a wide variety of HSC ATAR courses, including extension courses in Mathematics and English, opportunities to gain traineeships and work placement credentials, opportunities to engage in business mentoring and academic tutoring programs and strong links with Universities and TAFE institutions.

Alexandria Park Community School is currently undergoing a major upgrade. The redevelopment will include flexible, future-focused learning spaces which will further enhance innovative and engaging teaching practices, maximise outdoor green space, and ensure that the school will have the capacity to meet the needs of increasing student enrolments from Kindergarten to year 12.
